The Alpaca is a species of South American camelid descended from the vicuña. It is similar to, and often confused with, the llama. However, Alpacas are often noticeably smaller than llamas. The two animals are closely related and can successfully cross-breed. Alpacas and llamas are related to the guanaco. There are two breeds of Alpaca: the Suri Alpaca and the Huacaya Alpaca. We arrive at O’reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyard for our last wine tasting at around 2.30pm.  Mountainview Alpaca farm invites our passengers to take the Alpacas for a walk around the estate or feed them. Or purchase an Alpaca sweater or soft toy. We have plenty of time to spend with them and take in the beautiful surroundings of the Estate
